Terms of Service
Status as of 12 August 2026
Our Terms of Service are in final legal review and are not yet published.
We'd rather tell you that than put up something provisional and call it a contract. A draft is
available on request, and no brokerage will be asked to commit to anything before the final version
is in front of them. What's outstanding is the legal entity name, registered business address, and
the corporate structure decision — none of which changes how the product behaves.
What we can tell you now
These describe how TrustChain works today. They are not contractual terms, but they are what the terms will reflect, and they are already built into the product rather than being intentions.
- You keep access to your records for 30 days after an account is terminated. This is not a courtesy — termination is deliberately a two-stage process in the software. The account becomes read-only and export stays available for the window before access closes. Your records are not deleted at the end of it.
- Your data is yours and exportable at any time, in full, including the original documents rather than just the extracted fields.
- Deletion is a request we action manually, not a self-serve button. We would rather be honest about that than imply an automation that doesn't exist.
- CBSA record-keeping obligations remain yours. TrustChain helps you meet them; it does not assume them. No software can take on the importer of record's duties.
- Support is best-effort during business hours. There is no contractual uptime guarantee and we won't pretend otherwise while we're a small team.
How your data is handled
That's covered in detail on the privacy and security page — where your data is stored, who processes it, how brokerages are kept separate, and what we don't have. It's a fuller answer than most terms pages give.
Asking for the draft
If you're evaluating TrustChain and need to see the terms before going further, email support-trustchain@biruer.com and we'll send the current draft with the open points marked. Reviewing it and telling us what doesn't work for your brokerage would be genuinely useful.
